There’s something uniquely freeing about music videos. They give you permission to be bold—to chase an emotion, a color, a movement—without having to explain everything away. They live in the in-between space where visuals and sound collide, and that’s where I feel most creatively alive.
What I love most is the experimentation. The chance to try something that might be too strange or stylized for commercial work, but perfect for the mood of a song. Whether it’s shaping light to match a sonic shift, designing a shot to echo a lyric, or just leaning into pure visual rhythm—it’s always an invitation to push boundaries.
Music videos are also deeply collaborative. When artists, directors, and cinematographers are all aligned, you can build a world together that says something real, even if it only lasts three minutes. And I live for that feeling—when the images click into place and the music carries it all home.
